Thanks for the replies and the info Jeff. I noticed something interesting about your scan. If you look at the chips on the right side of your sheet, you can see their left edge. The chips on the left side of your sheet, you can see their right edge. And the chips toward the middle of your sheet... well they are pretty close to flat. Makes me wonder! I'll be running some more tests and experiments with my scanner tomorrow. Thanks again.
