ChipGuide Administrators are instructed to only put items on the ChipGuide if they can be validated. The easiest validation is having the name and location on the item itself. After that we use published references such as The Gaming Table, The Chip Rack and other sources. We also use the internet to verify submissions. When an item seems likely to have been used at a casino, but can't be verified we mention "Attributed to" in the comments. If an item can't be verified and seems unlikely to have been from the casino, it will be rejected ... for example, the chip mold was not in use at the time the casino was open.

If you have any or additional information about any item on the ChipGuide, there is an UPDATE button in the information box. Click on the button and an email will pop up filled out with information about the item and addressed to the ChipGuide Administrator for that location. You will get a prompt reply.
