I just found it strange that a card room would even remotely think about using a generic chip on their tables…..you would think that someone would go buy their own generic chips and put them into play…..but then again I’m sure in Montana, they still hang people for cheating vbg

I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes and I apologize if anyone takes it the wrong way. I think we all need to question the hobby from time to time just to make sure we have “fact based” data. One thing we might need to do is have a verbiage section in the guide just for this kind of example. I wonder if in 20 – 30+ years anyone will remember why that chip was listed in the guide for that particular card room.

I know that this hobby is full of little twists and turns that doesn’t make this a “pure” hobby and we will never know the exact history of every chip created for a card room or casino.
