I've always believed that we should stick with terms used in the gaming [manufacturing] industry regarding inlays, inserts (size/shape; arrangement) and slug size; especially w/o visual descriptions.

Without a visual, something like a "2-1/2 PIE W 4-1/2" description can easilly be envisioned where the reader will know exactly what the chip looks like (mentioning colors is helpful ).
