I was cleaning the grime off of these chips and noticed that one felt different than the other.

The one on the Left is thick with sharp square edges. The one on the Right is a little thinner with rounded edges.

I thought at first that it was just a wear issue but the chip on the Right does not show much wear.

Then I pulled out a C&S chip and it is exactly like all of the other C&S chips I have.

Question. When assigning codes to chips with the exact same color and inlay but different molds, is there a different code? Is one more desirable than the other?
