Boy am I glad that I made my airline reservations a few months ago when Southwest first extended their reservations to include the convention week. I paid around $330 and thought that the price was kind of ridiculous. But the last two years prices have always gone up as the time got closer. Now the best airfare for that week is $420. Glad I grabbed the low fare when I did. No wonder Southewest can advertise that they don't charge any change fees - they raised prices enough to cover the fees.
