While I wasn't there I am telling the story as I heard it.
There volunteer work was actually not inside the show, but at the registration desk outside the show. They had no intentions of going into the show so they didn't pre register. When they showed up for their shift they were turned away.

Since I just wanted to tell the story as I heard it I will leave my opinion out of this post.

As a volunteer I have no problem paying for admission. I think there are to many volunteers to allow free admission.

What we need is a way to bring new members to the show and club.
