The last I knew, the plan was to remove the lead

completely, color by color, replacing them with an alternative substance.
Obviously, manufacturers do not ive their secrets away, so its not possible to say how far they got.
I do know there were a couple of colors they expected to have problems with.

Given what went before, I would imagine there will be a press release when theyve got as far as they can.

Paul-Son lead-free chips only come in 6 flavors.
