I have to say that while I don't doubt you, I would love to read where you got that from.
With the nature of Haiti's economy one would have to question where they even would get $50,000,000 from.
That aside looking at the poverty many of its inhabitants are living in, I'm sure that the U.S. would not only forgive that debt as it has with many others or at least differ it to some future date.

I personally would of liked to have seen that $50,000,000 got to schools, electricity, running water and decent housing

John, as I said in my post, I'm all for helping those in need, I just am tired of the U.S. being the one country that seems to take the troubles of the world on its shoulders only to be spat upon.
