Not sure of your point. I thought that the seller came here for info, many people gave him time and expert opinions and he turned around and got greedy. Many collectors asked for a price (here on the board), seems like he could have come up with a reasonable price given all of the feedback and then sold the chips that he wanted to. If the price was too high, he may not sell too many. I hope the seller is happy to admire the stack of chips on his "coffee table" and he'll have a great story to tell his guests. I personally don't think he really wanted to sell the group, I think the whole thing was more of a feeler for value.
