...the old Silver Bird Race Book. A friend was here from Los Angeles & we were betting the Horses. He had won a just concluded race, but had somehow lost his ticket. The floor was full of discarded tickets from all of the previous races. We spent about an hour going through tickets & never found his. I did however find a ticket someone had tossed for the previous race that was good for a little over $300.
