As told to you in the past, there are pitfalls...
In Response To: A thought for the BOD? ()

with the ccgtcc "recommending" someone to help disburse a collection if necessary. I guess I can't understand why the person (either a member or non-member) who currently holds a collection cannot write down a contact person (or two or more) should that person meet some untimely demise. I have a very small collection of chips, but both my wife & my daughter know who to contact to get rid of my collection should something happen to me. These are people that I feel comfortable & confident with knowing that they would help my family -- not themselves.

In the past twelve months, I personally have been contacted twice about such a matter...and I made my recommendations as a club member, not as an "official" of the ccgtcc.
