In a most EXCELLENT reply post to this...

same post on the ccgtcc Message Board, Pam G. shared this infor with Michelle. (Michelle, I know that you have already seen this, but I thought it was an excellent reply and wanted to share it with others that might be interested in this establishment.

"Hi Michelle,
According to the little bit of information that I was able to find, the Navajo Saloon was located on Highway 28 in Crystal Bay. It was licensed from 5-12-1953 to 11-12-1953 for slots and blackjack. Some dice were found, which would indicate that they also offered craps.

As for chips, there are two chips known to exist from the Navajo...a yellow $5 and a black $25, both are on the rectangle-heart mold (a series of rectangle and heart shapes around the edge of the chip), both have a gold hot-stamp with the name and the denomination. There is only one of each chip known to the hobby at the current time, according to one of the reference books. The chips "book" for $2100-$6000. In 1998 the only known $25 sold at auction for $2794.

This message board is usually used for topics related to the Casino Chip and Gaming Tokens Collectors Club, so it doesn't receive as much traffic as another site that is used by chip collectors. If you post your question there, you might receive more information, and will almost certainly receive a few emails from people who are interested in the chip. If possible, post a picture or scan of the chip with your question. Go to... http://www.thechipboard.com "
