you should have bought item with your credit card
In Response To: NCR another eBay rant..... ()

General Suggestion — for most of your purchases where you don’t know the seller, especially on eBay, it is best to make credit card-funded payments, so you have the threat of a charge-back (and an actual charge-back) if worse comes to worse. Maybe have a Business PayPal account for bidding, with no balance, and use it for paying credit card-funded PayPal payments, for example. ... ... ... You could also temporarily deplete your one and only PayPal account for a credit card-funded purchase.

Even if you only buy inexpensive items, someday you might see an expensive bargain, and then it is handy to have the credit card linked to PP so you can act quickly and safely.
