An old topic revisited

An old topic, well perhaps not so old for some of the newbies and perhaps also a word of warning at the same time.

A topic of discussion a few years ago was the repair and altering of chips and even the manufacture of fakes, some from original blanks. There were also chips created to look like legitimate chips but from casinos that never existed. A world of information regarding this is available on the CCGTCC website.

A few people were implicated and at least one admitted to "restoring" chips, quite well as a matter of fact might I add.
That person said at the time that they would cease from doing so in the future or at least indicate if such action was taken

While I'm drawing this to the attention of newbies, I myself also wonder if there have been any new developments in this area? Is this still going on?

Anyone know?
