Very informative and interesting reading....

The bubble mailers that I received yesterday were all with metered stamps - when I mail bubble envelope with one chip, the postal clerk usually put it on the scale infront of both of us then start keying on the machines and print the postage stick which is posted on to the mailer - set aside into a cart. I guess they weigh them one by one down the road, even when I mail the Monarch envelope with corrugated cardboard.

While I was in New Jersey, and before that in New York City I found the postal clerk more knowledgeable and courteous than the ones we have in the new post offices sprouting up in Las Vegas new communities. For me I simply make the line - patiently and silently read a book or play with my Ipod, I don't complain, but when it comes to the "registered" mail - that they don't even attempt to deliver not even once for about two years I have been in my residence I went to talk to the PO Manager and told her the situation. There are as much "pick up" as there are mailers. I found out that the registered mails are somewhat handled by an outside "delivery office" hired and on contractual, not personnel of the PO. I never question these things - I don't have time even to make the line sometimes.

Seriously I will just do, day in and day out in line to get my turn.

I find it interesting to share my little experiences with the club members whom I trade so often.

I thank you for your thoughtful insights on the complexity on simple things which most common people do take in stride as part of life, thank you to the internet that we can email instead of poney snail mail.

Have a good day.

I shop around for the cheapest P.O.
This explains the confusion: complex USPS rules.
