I agree with Jay completely-

In 1986, I made a copy of a bass guitar in high school woodshop that was so close to the real thing that it fooled the local guitar dealer. If I were to sell that bass today just saying BC Rich Bass, and nothing else, I would be lying to the naive buyer by not revealing its true source. The real one is worth over $1700- mine is worth $150 at best.

The seller of that chip is well aware that it was never anywhere near the T-Bird, and is a souvenir novelty worth no more than a dollar
