Occasionally in taking trips to the shore area (usually Seaside Heights)I sometimes drive "up the coast" and dont think I have passed though Asbury Park in at least 10 years.... It was pretty shabby back then. Having grown up in northern NJ - my teen years were spent at Palisades Amusement Park with Cousin Brucie and lots of 50's & 60's recording artists performing there, Ha. You know that place right, the World Largest Salt Water Pool. I have two old time posters of "PAP" here in my computer room. Have a good weekend Archie.
