Here's one for the books

I recieved this email in my Yahoo acct. on the 21st of Dec.. It came in my bulk mail and I figured it to be a scam so I ignored it. Tonight I decided to look up the auction # and see just what the fella was trying to sell me so I did a search and found this auction. The auction ended the 24th........mind you I got the email on the 21st. I had made 1 bid on this auction for $50 knowing full well I had no chance of winning it...but you never know vbg. The mystery to me is how the fella got my Yahoo address when all my Ebay dealings are handled by my Hotmail acct. I'm sure sombody's fishing for $$ or info, but I'd like to know how they knew to contact me on Yahoo.com. Any Ideas??
Here's a link to the auction in question.

Subject: Question from eBay Member for Item: (120199823777)
From: "eBay"

Hi,I am the seller of the eBay item : 120199823777,and I've just been contacted by the eBay staff who informed me that the winner of this item got rejected due to security reasons (either failed to follow through on the purchase commitment or outright refused to do so). From the results that you recently bid for it, I want to sell it at a very good price that I am sure you will like as eBay policy automatically proclaims you to be the winner by default.Nevertheless,I need your agreement on this so I may contact eBay to confirm your winning position otherwise I'll relist the item. If you're interested please confirm by forwarding this message to hitchenn@hotmail.com and include your name, address, ebay ID. Please contact me at hitchenn@hotmail.com with your response, either yes or no. Thank you for understanding.
