Are you sure the circular racquet is not for badminton? Although exaggerated in the picture, they used to have long handles.
Badminton had a rich history in the area from 125 years ago.

I think the other one (which is offset as well as non circular) is a Lacrosse racquet. The original Cherokee version which google tells me developed in the Chicago area around the time of that chip was played with a regular length racquet as opposed to the modern 'stick'.

Then again, someone will probably tell me Im talking pure BS grin

Maybe the early C&S designers had the idea that 100 years on, some bandit in NJ might start collecting them, so they would make it as difficult as possible for him vbg
