I don't know how small your safe is, but can it be easily lifted and removed by one or two people? If so thats not good and should be fastened. Mine is "built in". Most or some dessicant paks (de-humidifiers) have a dot that changes color. read the directions and some of them can be dried out in the oven and re-used. I just put my chips and jewelry in when we travel, keeping only documents and some valuables that are not often needed in the safe. No long term chip storage so they go into the safe in their binders.
