I lean toward your intention. I have been a member in the past, but do to time and finances, I didn't feel like I could take a real active role, other than my vote. There have been many contests that I would have enjoyed participating in but they were closed to members only. This forum seems to be dominated by CCGTCC members and gives the impression that unless you are a member, you are not a part of the Chipboard community. The contests have never given me an incentive to join just to participate and I have felt that if a member wanted to conduct a contest for "members only", they have a separate website to do so instead of excluding the many participants of this comunity forum. Paul Sax has many times offered to share the wealth of chance by purchasing lottery tickets and asking that you only need to post "I'm in" to be a part of the fun. I think we can all agree he is to be admired for his generosity to complete strangers. This is an open forum, and folks can do as they see fit, be they members or not. I may well become a member again and be able to participate in CCGTCC only contests should I choose to. Good for me, but I'll still feel that there are still those out there who will be feeling left out. Just my humble opinion.
