Re: 6th Avenue Electronics - Comments?

Greg, try B&Hphoto.com I live here in NYC and they are located on 34th st. and 9th Ave, they are very reputable and their prices are the best. I always comparison shop before any major purchases.I have bought from them in the past 2 yrs. 2- 45" LCD flat SHARP AQUOIS TV'S,3- IPOD'S,2-Canon digital camera's, Sony camcorder, and a Bose home theater system all at extreme saving's and no problems with anything. The operation is owned & run by a knowledgeble staff of Hasidic Jews, and they carry top name brands.( closed on Saturdays)

Although ,I have never bought from the other place you mentioned, I did hear that they were a bait & switch place that advertises and never have the items in stock, then they try to sell you something discontinued or a much higher priced item, they are located along with many other electronic stores in the the part of Manhattan were they can use these gimmicks on unsuspecting tourist.

Hope that is of some help to you. Good Luck
