The Vic was always one of my favorite places to play. It was pretty easy to get to from where I lived, and always enjoyed the games. Didn't get a chance to play much pot-limit stud. However the very first time I played I didn't take into account the self-dealt rule and didn't realize how inept I was at dealing. The old guys took it easy and walked me through fanning the cards onto the table and almost working it like a blackjack shoe. Once I got the hang of it, it wasn't too bad. Did OK as well.
