The faded chips were never used on the first Club Royale. They are from the CR2. Inferior quality, made in a rush to get the 2nd boat up and running after the 1st ship sank.

Click, or copy and paste the link to see the difference between the chips. The chips from the 1st ship are hard to come by as very few ever got off the boat before it sank. You should be able to find more about it with a search on Google.
