Why do all the Club Royale cruise ship chips look like they spent 50 years under a desert sun? I have seen this explained as "they were on a cruise ship that sank and faded underwater" to "they were made that way" (which I don't believe) to "they were acid washed to fade them to preclude anyone trying to cash them in". C'mon chippers--what's the real story?
