must be the result of spending life walking upside-down on the underside of the world. As an American visitor to Australia on R&R from Viet Nam in 1968, I can attest that Vegemite tastes awful. It tastes like old moldy brewer's yeast which has gone beyond spoiled. Even the Chinese, who consider anything with a carbon atom to be edible avoid it like SARS. No offense, but Vegemite was why the MR. YUCK poison label was invented!!!

PS - I loved everything else about Australia!!!!
