Last week I mailed out some of my new personal chips, only one chip in a 4x8 bubble envelope, and a clerk charged me $1.13. Today I mailed out six more with a different clerk. I handed the clerk one of the envelopes and asked how much(?). He said they were large envelopes and would be 58¢ each. Janice's 36 years with the USPO may be paying off.

I have emailed the six collectors getting an envelope from today and included a scan of the complete receipt. All I can hope is that the word is finally getting down to the operational level. Yes, if they get hit with postage due I'll buy at SplashBar III. He did say that appropriate stamps would be out so one would not have to combine stamps to make the correct postage.
