There are lots of questions you didnt answer -- mainly where are you staying and what do you plan to do about transport around town.

A car is the most obvious and the cost is not too much (compared to taxing the same location) if you plan to go all over the place. But if you are going to stay within a walking area, just take a taxi to/from the airport.

Basic rules about taxis -- never take the tunnel, they will try but they also have to listen to you telling them not to. ESPECIALLY if you are going to the strip. Whole thing to a hotel on the strip should be under $15 with tip (although its been a while).
