He is trying to scam you my friend.
It costs us about $1.80 in postage if it is sent in a bubble mailer plus the cost of the mailer.
Realistically....$2-2.50 would be the max in US dollars to mail to you.
In a nutshell....he is lying through his teeth.
Heck I had a guy from New York try to charge me $6.00 to send up to me in Canada for the inconvenience of him having to go to the post office.
Takes all kinds.Tell the guy that you spoke to a Canadian member and that I told him he is full of crap!You might not get the chip...but think of the satisfaction:>)
