.....I just don't think this rises to the level of a "Blight" on our hobby. I think refilling in drill holes constitutes blight. There is actual, overt deception involved there.

Who is being deceived by these chips? There is an obvious market for them, and I have seen some of the nicer looking home poker chips fetch decent prices and multiple bids on eBay. Are all these folks being duped? Of course not. Some people just plain like those chips. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

I love Borlands. They have an old-time feel. Are they a blight? NO. They just are NOT casino chips. No big deal. I still like them.
