Don,

With all due respect, it is the fees or hourly rates charged by lawyers that is at fault. I don't know if an attorney would be willing to give a free consultation to discuss how many hours he or she might have to bill a client to go after an insurance company for rental car reimbursement that may be less than six hundred dollars total. A paralegal might be able to do it for less, but it still might not be worth it.
