The unwinnable special slot machines were part of the fun. Unfortunately for them, one of my friends went on a hot streak and actually made a little more than the face value of all of our slot tokens combined!! I don't think that happened often.

We did know enough to see that these were slot machines devoted to the promotional tokens.
