A number of regulars (I'm one) won't even open posts made by folks using just a first name (too many troll problems in the past) or folks using an anonymous screen name (again trolls, and, if you want trust, give it).

Greg started this forum back in the old Prodigy days almost 10 years ago. You HAD to use your real name on the Prodigy BBs. Prodigy was closing down their BB system, and this began as a continuation of that community.

I like to know who I'm talking to. Even though you'll have an occasional bryson, real names make the atmosphere more friendly, and require less moderation. It's too easy to sling crap when you are hiding behind a screen name.
