My chip did not come from a real casino.

There was a casino called the Trocadero, in the El Cortez Hotel, in Reno. It was closed long before this chip was created. As I understand it, Mel Jung and Armin Pfaender (sp?) hosted a chip show at the El Cortez in 1996, and had this chip (and other colors/denominations) made to commemorate the show.

It was years ago that I bought this chip by mistake, and I'm not trying to blame anyone else for that mistake. As I said before, my objection is people saying that a marbleized chip created by David Whalen won't be mistaken for a chip issued by a casino.
