Re: Wow...you can ask for a comp like that?

From all I have seen and experienced, You could ask the dealer and he/she would call over a floor person. The floor person though is the person that you ultimately need to see for a comp. That is, of course, in places where they still have the floor people doing that.

I have noticed that some places are shifting comps to the players clubs and away from the pits. With computerized tracking, some casinos are integrating their slot and table comps into the same systems. Others still maintain them separately meaning that you need to cash in table play in the pits and slot play at the player club booths. Horseshoe, (Harrahs) I have heard is doing that (converting or merging to the same system). Last couple trips to Hammond, IN, I have heard the floormen telling players to go see the club booth. I don't know though. It seems that for what I play at Horseshoe, I am not getting the comp points or recognition that I should be on my table play if that is being tracked on my Total Rewards card. I could be wrong but it seems that the Total Rewards counter is only tracking my slot and video poker play.

Main thing, ask the dealer if a floor person isn't there. they will tell you what to do or call someone over for you.
