It is much easier to get comped by watching your mailbox or e-mail and taking advantage of an offer of a free room. I've stayed several times at Wynn for free that way and I''m definitely a low-roller. The offers I've gotten are usually for one particular week and are good Monday through Thursday. I assume they are weeks that aren't busy when they send out these offers. On the other hand if you just book a room and show up you have to play quite a lot to have them give you the room for free. I've heard at Wynn it takes four hours of table play per day at an average bet of $150 to get a comp room.
