Hi Barry,

As Archie mentioned when the casinos sort and cancel the cards they grab whatever box is handy and put in the deck. While boxes would be collectible, there are only so many variations. You will probably find a red and blue box in the same back design abut the box would not have the casino name on it. So you would be collecting the box variations from a manufacturer.

I'd say go for the cards themselves. Collect either one particular card or a whole deck. The single card is a lot easier to display in a binder. The full decks are a bit harder to look thru and take up a lot more room.

If you go for a single card, you may want an ace of spades as it is usually fancier than the other aces. You might also want a face card, maybe the Jack of Diamonds, or maybe a numeral card for some particular reason.

Have fun c olleting, no matter how you do it.
