Whenever I have done an auction with a reserve....
In Response To: eBay Question ()

I have always listed the reserve amount in the description.

It's for the same reason that many people won;t bid on reserve auctions...that is many (including me) don;t want to waste their time if the reserve amount is beyond what we think is reasonable. Too many times I've seen a chip auction for a chip valued at around 100.00. The auction goes up to 90.00 and ends without the reserve being met. Now what on earth could that reserve be at?? Who knows...but it was obviously too high.

So I list the amount. Many people don't get that far to even read the description. If it's a reserve auction, they just don't bid.
