One of the difficulties of publishing a chip catalog is that we do not have access to all manufacturers' records. Therefore, at times we must take the representations of sellers of chips as to their origin. Such was the case with these chips. Several collectors and sellers believed them to be early Las Vegas issues.

Another difficulty of publishing a chip catalog is that the moment it is published, it's out of date. The definitive information about the true nature of these chips surfaced after publication of TCR 10, the last edition. In the next edition, the chips will not appear.
