Hello Jim

My point is that it is perfectly legal to restore chips. However none of this should pre-empt "criminal fraud". That would be better dealt with in the criminal justice system. Almost all levels of Government have laws to prohibit that activty. If it ever does occur with one of the chips I've worked on, it would be my intention to cooperate with the Law Enforcement Agency involved to bring about justice.
