The insert that your scan shows as white should be orange, Jeremy. I'm assuming that's just an artifact of the scanning process.

One of the pieces of info you will find in the reference books when you get them is that all the Sundance chips are very common, mainly because most of them went to a gaming school after the casino closed. This was before the days when most obsolete chips are destroyed.

You'll find quite a number of old chips that look as if they should be valuable but are not. Coin dealers and tourist shops like to take advantage of this by charging high prices on items worth only a dollar or two.
