TOKENS vs. COINS

Just returned from a class reunion. Wanted to post a responce to one of Archie's earlier posts;

Tokens are legal substitutes for coins. They are used in exchange for goods or services ... much like coins are.

I believe chips have a lot in common with guns. There are limited edition & commemorative guns. There are current and retired military guns. Guns can be exchanged for $$$ at a pawn shop. I once knew a guy that traded his gun for a pick-up truck. Guns have been used to make withdrawels from banks or obtain sexual favors. Does this make them currency?

It is lawful to repair or restore guns. Those who do this are known as "gunsmiths".

When guns are used to committ a crime sometimes the victims go after the manufacturer and the dealer. Never the gunsmith.

The only way the gunsmith can be implicated is if there is conclusive evidence that the criminal had work performed on the gun for the specific purpose of committing the crime and the gunsmith was aware of this intent.

Where's Jim Rielly ? ? ? ?
