My guess is insurance. I went thru all these chips earlier today during my weekly Monday morning eBay searches. These chips are definitly ALL priced at the upper end of their value. I am not sure that I agree with that strategy, even for higher-end chips like these. Most serious bidders won't bid early because the price is so high. that means no time to get 'attatched" to the chip. I call it the "fiend" factor , or those times when you decide YOU ARE GONNA GET THIS CHIP. You see a really sweet chip up there at a reasonable price. Now you know that price is gonna climb, but you start thinking maybe, just maybe....next thing you know you are in it to the end. When chips are priced this way, that dosen't happen. You start to look at it in almost a clinical sense, and that is not good for the seller. Am I making sense? JMHO, anyway....I wont be bidding lol.
