Part of the fascination of casino chips for me is trying to image what was going on in the room when these pieces were in play. Who was betting them and what were they thinking when they laid them on the table. Pondering pictures of gaming days gone by adds to my fun of collecting chips.

As you probably know, Nevada Club in Las Vegas was known for these postcards of their patrons. These particular cards I have are marked with either or both a number in pen or a stamped date.

This card is the first in the batch according to the markings. We find Worried Sister on Jan. 8, 1958 looking pretty doggone comfortable in a Las Vegas casino I must say! Fur coat, sequined sweater…probably just rolled into town for a winter getaway.
