I'm going to try to win my way to next year's chipper convention in Vegas. Hope to go to my 1st convention next year (finally) after being a member since 2002.

My goal is to earn enough money playing online poker to pay for my expenses. I started this quest back on August 1st. So far, I've earned just over $100 in just over a month playing at the $1/$2 tables on Poker Stars.

Out of curiosity, from the members who've gone to the last convention or two, how much did you end up spending in airfare and hotel/food expenses while at the convention?

I'm trying to get a feel for how much I need to earn (minus the cost of buying tons of chips and gambling of course) to pay for the trip. I'd be flying or driving in from Colorado. Love tohear your ballpark estimates.
