Just to clarify, I do not believe in "choosing" a human life over an animal, but I do know that I will be skipping my twice weekly Sonic-fixes and no coffees on my way to work. That $15 will be better spent on a hungry animal or fuel to get hay to someone's horses (by the way, did you know horses CAN NOT eat molding hay, it'll kill them). I only hope someone can get "Snowball" to an animal rescue site where he will be fed and cared for until he can be reunited with his little boy. It's bad enough to lose all your worldly belongings, but what does it say when we take away the only thing that little boy truely loved? Since in my view, the dog was small enough to fit into the boys' lap.
