Re: Eating Inexpensively at the Convention

Here is some more info. The ribs at Ellis Island are great and cheap. The Porterhouse is like $5.99. If you are into breakfast they have a great one at Wild, Wild West (it was $1.99 last year). Where ever you go for breakfast specials make sure to check out the hours it is available. Don't be like Cindy and I and drive to the Orleans only to discover that the special ended 5 minutes earlier (actually they changed the time on us!). And don't forget about the 5 cent coffee and 25 cent donuts at Westward Ho next to the gift shop.

If you don't mind not getting the paper copy of the Las Vegas Advisor you can pick up copy of their coupon book and get internet access to the magazine for only $37. That includes the Palms coupon good for 1/2 off on just about anything up to $100. Just using that one coupon pays for the whole book. And the coupon book normally has lots of $5 matchplay coupons in it not to mention discounts on meals.

You can spend $60 on the Sunday Champagne Brunch at Ballys or eat for the better part of a week with a little looking.
