Re: Warped chips - Any way to fix?

Here is one of the first lessons I learned. I was at a Las Vegas flea market on a hot summer day and saw a 25 cent Continental chip in a cardboard holder for 3 dollars. I knew I didn't have the chip so I bought it. Well sure enough the chip was warped when I got home and took it out of the cardboard. That thought me to look more closely when buying chips especially those laying around in the sun.

Here is how I fixed it. I laid the chip between two pieces of brass and warmed it with a heat gun as Don recommended. It flattened right out. Just don't let it get to hot. Chips soften up fast. Barry
