Re: Will you share more of your knowledge?

Gene,

Curious if you know what years of the WSOP buy in chips are going to be dumped on the market? Do you know how they are going to be sold (ebay, website, homeshopping) etc? I've also heard rumors that a lot of house chips from the Horseshoe will soon be dumped on the market as well. I've seen they've started selling chips through shopathometv.com and wondering how all of the above is going to affect the collectibility of chips from the Horseshoe? I've also heard that shopathome is going to start selling more Binion's chips. With all these rumors I'm wondering what is actually true? Are you willing to share any of your knowledge on this subject? I'm somewhat new to collecting and enjoy getting the perspective from a seasoned collector. Thanks in advance for any information.

I wanted to make a quick comment on Scott's ebay ads. I can understand why a chip collector would disapprove of him using the term "Very Rare" in his ads however I'm sure it wasn't meant to deceive anyone. I've bought several chips from him in the past and he has always been very upfront and honest in every dealing we've had. I'm not trying to argue any points that you made in your previous posts. I just wanted to let everyone know that in MHO I don't think he intended any deception. From what I've seen the 1994 yellow buy in chip is not listed in the TCR. That alone probably doesn't make it rare but curious how many of the yellow 1994 buyins are out there versus the grey ones? Do you know if this chip is listed in any guide?

Regards,
Anthony

PS - How is your tournament at the Palms going?
